The Oculus Center for Performing Arts is a landmark project designed to be a city's cultural heart. Its name is derived from the large, eye-like skylight that forms the centerpiece of the grand atrium, flooding the space with natural light. The building houses a 2,000-seat concert hall, a flexible theater, and numerous exhibition spaces, all wrapped in a fluid, futuristic shell.
